I Hate the Word "Goodbye"

From the very beginning, there are many things that we’re afraid of, just like fear of the new people that surrounds us, fear of adopting the place that will probably change us and fear of thinking that someone could teased us in this High School Life. Those fears are some of our pathetic thinking when we move our first step in the campus, but when the time goes by, we can even say to ourselves how great this place is and how great these unfamiliar people to us.

Now, we’re starting to love those fears one by one. We try to have an annual acquaintance with them that turns to friendship and from that time, most of us were having an unforgettable daily bonding just like going somewhere, laughing and playing with our friends and classmates, and most of all is to plan not to go to classes. It sounds pretty insane but it’s true, we probably missed everything that we’ve been through, and we will treasure those memories until the end. Many people say that when we go to collage, we will always remember and will try to go back to the old days that full of happiness, sadness and mix emotions in high school. We can visit those times in our mind always but we can never go back to that time anymore, where cheating in classes are happening and of course loving someone is seemingly beginning. Maybe someday when we see our pictures in an old album or an old frame, we might cry while saying “I wish I could go back to that time, to experience that moments again”, it’s easy to say but impossible to do, isn’t it?

Saying “goodbye” is the part that we really hate because we’re afraid that we won’t see our friends anymore and afraid of losing them in our life, but “the show must go on” as what mostly people say during we experience failures. We have to accept that nothing is permanent in this world and one thing that I’m sure of is we will never forget each other forever because it is not yet the end of our life, we’re just going to turn the next chapter of our life in this vast journey.
